The Cordoba Islamic Studies library offers the greater Hamilton community, literature and media of the highest calibre on Islam and Muslims. To uphold the Cordoba House mission of fostering dialogue, facilitating understanding, and promoting research on Islam and Muslims in Canada and the role of faith in public life, a significant portion of our collection is devoted to Islam and Muslims in the West. However, it is not limited to this, as we also carry titles on Islamic history, gender and Islam, comparative religion, globalization, international law and spirituality. God willing, before the end of 2009, we will be joining with Mills Memorial Library at McMaster University by making our library collection available through their catalogue. Our complete catalogue is also available through our website, and is continuously updated as we add more books to our collection. A year long membership to the library is $5.00.
